A21 Human Trafficking Series

Set Her Free

This 40-second PSA was filmed on location in Greece as part of A21’s national campaign to raise awareness about human trafficking. The spot is being broadcast on national TV in Greece and in a number of languages around the world.

Road of Justice

This video was created on location in Bulgaria and Greece in order to promote a marathon that raises awareness and money for anti-human-trafficking organizations.

If You See Something

This forty-second public service announcement was created for national broadcast in Greece to raise awareness for the A21 Campaign’s 1109 hotline for human trafficking. Using a split-screen effect, the PSA shows a young man’s moment of opportunity to make a phone call that could rescue a girl from captivity and possibly save her life.

Story

This series of short commercial content was created for the A21 Campaign, a non-profit that works to fight human trafficking globally.

So what’s the story here and why Greece?

Greece is an epicenter (if not the center) of global human trafficking because it’s a gateway. Men and women are moved under duress or deceit from Eastern Europe and other countries into Greece. Once in Greece, and thus inside the EU, these individuals are conditioned (often as sex slaves) through psychological manipulation, physical abuse, and substance addiction. Now under the control of an organized trafficking ring, these individuals are moved out of country into the EU and abroad, even to cities in the United States.  And this isn’t a few people. Millions are being trafficked in what is estimated to be a $150 billion industry. Only 1% are ever rescued.

We provided full-service production including concept development, scripting, casting, full-production and post-production.
